Joining The Dots

Throughout 2012 John Coxon & Associates will be hosting a series of seminars in New Zealand titled Joining the Dots.

Most presentations on strategic planning focus upon the planning process, discuss benchmarking, cascading outcomes, key performance indicators and balanced scorecards.

As important as these processes are, equally as important is having an understanding of the emerging environment for the charity and not-for-profit sector.

When you understand those factors that impact upon the sector and your organisation, then you are able to minimise risk by planning to either take advantage of them, or minimise their impact.

John Coxon, principal consultant, will present an overview of the emerging factors that impact upon charities and the nonprofit sector in New Zealand. In his short presentation, John will 'join the dots' as he maps the political, economic, social and technological factors that impact upon service delivery.

This information will benefit board members, committee members and senior managers; provide a big picture and create a base for future planning.

  • Auckland: May 23rd, 9-12. Disability Resource Center, 14 Erson Ave, Royal Oak. (Near Royal Oak Mall) noon
  • Hamilton: May 24th, 9-12noon. Knox Christian Centre, 48 Albert Street, Hamilton East.
  • Wellington: June 29th, 9-12noon

Cost: NZ$79.00pp (gst exempt)

    Location

    Refunds: Any registration cancelled 30 days or more prior to a scheduled event will receive a full refund. Should the event by cancelled by the host then all prepaid registrations will be refunded. Registrations cancelled within 30 days of a scheduled event will receive a 50% refund. Registrations can be transfered to another event of the same value. No refunds for no show.
